ABOUT EFPI
The Estonian Foreign Policy Institute, Eesti Välispoliitika Instituut (EFPI) is an autonomous research unit operating under the International Centre for Defence and Security in Tallinn. The mission of EFPI is to promote a deeper understanding of international affairs and of Estonia’s role in a changing world by conducting relevant research and providing a forum for informed discussion and analysis.
To this end, the staff of EFPI conducts research that serves foreign policy decision-making, takes part in seminars and conferences in Estonia and abroad, produces commentary to the media, organizes public lectures, seminars and conferences, and participates in international research networks. EFPI co-operates closely with government bodies, universities, and other research institutes in Estonia and abroad.
