Elsi joined the Estonian Foreign Policy Institute (EFPI) at the ICDS as a Research Assistant in 2021. She supports EFPI Research Fellows in their research, helps with administration, and coordinates EFPI events.
Elsi holds two BAs from Tallinn University in Russian philology, and anthropology. Currently, she is studying for an MA in international relations with a focus on Russia’s soft and sharp power actions towards Estonia, the problem of the dichotomy of identity in Estonia, propaganda in the media, and the exploitation of nationalism. Alongside her studies, she has gained work experience at the Estonian Ministry of Culture.
